Looking Forward

Kenora is dedicated to ensuring young people can explore who they are through diverse opportunities while surrounded by a community that supports them.

We work to ensure that individuals under the age of 25 have access to the resources and support they need to thrive academically, socially, and physically. Guided by our charity trustees, we operate with a steadfast commitment to promoting education for the public benefit.

Charles and Derica Noall

Charles and Derica Noall grew up in Cornwall and raised their family in the UK, Germany, and the Netherlands.

During his career, Charles held several international leadership roles and retired as the Chief Executive of Element Materials Technology in 2020 after leading the company for 18 years.

Under his leadership, Element became one of the fastest-growing companies in the Global Testing, Inspection, and Certification sector and was ranked 15th in the Sunday Times Top Track 250 in 2020.

After retiring, Charles and Derica established The Kenora Charitable Foundation, an independent grant-making family trust, focused on supporting the education, development and welfare of young people under the age of 25.

Today, multiple generations of the Noall family help guide the philanthropic interests of The Kenora Charitable Foundation

Lily Noall-Churchill

In 2023, Lily Noall-Churchill joined the Kenora board of trustees as the Director of Philanthropy.

Based from Somerset, Lily manages the day to day activities of the foundation, identifying and evaluating opportunities to support young people and further shape the foundation’s vision and partnerships.

Lily takes a strong personal interest in the causes that are supported by Kenora and engages actively with partners. Lily uses her expertise in academia and experience as an educator in both the independent and state sectors to encourage all partners to advance the invaluable work they do with young people, both within the remit of grants awarded and beyond.
