How we work

Our mission is to enable young people to have the best opportunities available, by breaking down any financial and geographical barriers that may prevent them, their family or their community from thriving. By providing a range of grants across the different stages of a young person’s life, we aim to help them grow, explore and reach their full potential in a culture of kindness, compassion and integrity.

The vast majority of our work is through restricted-grants which fund a specific project or a portion of a specific project. The project can be in its infancy or pre-existing requiring funding to reach the next level.

We look for projects where the team involved is eager and willing to work collaboratively with us in detail. Together we develop realistic targets and offer support to help ensure the project reaches fruition.

Physical and Mental Health

The health challenges faced by young people impact not only them, but also siblings, parents/guardians and friends. That is why our partnerships aim to help provide opportunities for families to engage in activities together, counselling support for siblings and also relieve some of the burdens facing families when the young person they love is unwell.

Personal and Social Development

Being able to offer young people the opportunity to develop as an individual and discover what makes them unique is at the centre of our work. Our partnerships in this area include outdoor activities, sports, the arts and also lifelong skills development. Many of these projects enable a young person to build interpersonal skills, form friendships and feel a greater sense of community.

Education

The time a child spends in school has an impact that lasts a lifetime and so we seek to find educational institutions who uphold our core values of integrity, compassion and kindness. Together, we establish a bursary fund that helps children who would flourish in their specific educational setting to not only attend school but to be able to access every opportunity that school has to offer without concern for the financial burden.

Investing in young people is an investment in the future. By establishing a set of strong values around our philanthropic endeavours, we hope that the young people we support become leaders, innovators and changemakers of tomorrow.
